A new year, a new start. That's the way it works, right?
Living in my parent's basement, starting over right now. Time to make some changes to my life. Not everything is bad - don't get me wrong. Boyfriend and I have been together just shy of three months and that's going wonderfully. Living with my parents should help me get my financial situation back in order - I still owe the state a ton of money from my DUI in June. Also will pay off some of my debts (hopefully) - I want to be in a place where I'm not living beyond my means anymore. This may mean some lifestyle changes I am not entirely sure I want to make - not going out as much, cooking more even if I am tired when I get home from work, etc.
But then again, I need to make these changes. The way I'm living now isn' t sustainable - I am totally burning the candle at both ends and it's already starting to come back and bite me in the ass. I figure this blog will be useful as I can write down my goals, from the piddling daily stuff to the monumental, and maybe being able to go back and re-read them will keep me on track.
So here we go.
Today:
-Pay bills
-Call and pay Sprint PCS over the phone
-Pay car insurance at agency
-Register for Alcohol Education Class (part of terms of probation. joy.)
-Visit 24 H0ur Fitness and G0ld's Gym
General life:
-Begin working out 2x a week minimum; goal not to lose weight but look better naked and not feel so flabby/weak
-Stop eating crap at work, ie. all the cookies everyone keeps bringing in
-Drink more water. Drink less beer.
-Manage money better/set up a workable budget so I can get some savings
Well, that's ambitious but not unreasonable, I think.
